Jasween Gujral
My life has been a pursuit of justice, equity and good conscience at the intersection of innovation and technology. I’m a dual licensed lawyer in Ontario, CA and India. I have a passion for technology and am completing a Master of Laws in Innovation, Law & Technology at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto. My current research and study focuses on the nuances created by artificial intelligence and machine learning on self driving cars. I’m a strong advocate for bringing law in tandem with technology. In addition to over 9 years of experience in business development and practising corporate law as an in-house counsel, I have also served as a City Councillor in Municipal Corporation, Jabalpur, MP, India. My multicultural upbringing has helped me develop strong communication skills in over four languages and I am keenly interested in fostering diversity while being sensitive about equity in the practice of law.
