Hussein Kassam
Hussein joined Goodman Elbassiouni LLP in May 2022 to broaden his horizons and to pursue his interest in health law, personal injury, and medical malpractice through the firm’s well-established and robust practice in accident benefits and torts.
Hussein Kassam is a graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law – Programme de Common Law Français and the Faculty of Social Sciences (2021). During his time in law school, Hussein participated in competitions including, the Walker Health Law Moot, and was awarded along with his co-counsel, the Award for Best Factum Appellant.
Hussein believes in giving back to the community and has done so through his invaluable experiences supporting The David W. Scott Centre for Justice (Pro Bono Ontario), the Health Law Students Association as VP of Francophone Affairs, and Pharmacists Without Borders Canada.
Outside of the office, Hussein is a religious Manchester United supporter. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, playing volleyball, and loves travelling.
